Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Early on, her father was interested in theatre. He was a part of stage on the Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions around Atlanta. While in Biloxi, Mississippi he was part of a military unit in the play of Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple married and, in 1956, their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter was a student at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they were discharged from the air force and Walter began studying at Tulane. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved to Decatur Georgia. In 1964, Walter together with Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's television show called Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by themselves. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou established The Actors and Writers Workshop. The organization lasted for a total of six years. In 1965, they welcomed two young children, Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
